Full Stop Entertainment, an event planning company, served numerous homeless Saturday June 4, 2017 at the Franklin Square in downtown Washington, DC. After saying a short prayer, the dynamic team of volunteers setup several tables of food, clothing, and personal hygiene items. The menu included chicken, ham, meatballs, stuffing, green beans, mashed potatoes, corn, noodles, rice, sandwiches, fruit, and bread. The effort was definitely a success shown by the smiles on everyone's faces. Some even danced!
In 2016, the Washington Post reported that the homeless population in Washington DC was the highest among 32 cities and in 2015 reported that there were over 11,000 homeless in the region.
Thank you Full Stop Entertainment for giving back.
Acts 20:35 (NIV) "In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
